My Moving Experience
After settling on a price of $98 per hr. with a one time $98 show-up fee for a truck, insurance, padding, and THREE men, only two men showed up.
When I called Mr. Move to ask where the third man was, they offered to send one right out for an additional $30 per hr. I was very careful to ask several times when I made the prior arrangements that there were to be three men. That's why I chose Mr. Move. All the other companies were two men.
I was told they would not budge on the price for an additional man, nor would he reduce my hourly rate for two men.
The movers themselves were very courteous and careful with the items, the office staff and manager I'm sorry to say were not. I guess my big mistake was not to get the charges in writing.
