Preferred Movers
Preferred Movers quoted me 600-750. The final cost was 1100. I paid 875.00 and refused to pay anymore. The owner was supposed to move me on a Sat. Called me the next day and asked me if I could move on Fri. and I said yes.
They called me back and said never mind it would be Saturday. I sat at my storage unit for 2 hrs. waiting for them. They never called me until 12 noon to tell me their truck broke down and they gave me the option of coming later or doing it on Monday. I said to do it on Monday so they wouldn't rush and damage my furniture to get done on time.
The owner called me on Monday morning and told me he was going to put 4 men on instead of 3 for $125.00 an hour to get me done on time but only 3 showed up so it took them 2 hrs. longer. He shouldn't have charged me any extra, and his worker was very rude to me telling me to just pay the difference.
I refused and talked to the owner. I would not recommend them.
