Basic Moving Was Great
There were four movers who came to pack. They were on time and worked non stop for 6 hours. They worked through lunch and never took breaks. They were focused on the job and protected the precious crystal and heirlooms that my mom had throughout the house.
I kept waiting for the head person to explain why the move was going to cost more than estimated. It never happened. They were good to their word.
I would recommend Basic Moving to everyone I know. Two movers came to the final destination. The truck was very late. They showed up at 5 p.m. to start the job. Although they were late, they worked nonstop until 1 a.m. to move everything. They did mention a possible increase in price because of the distance to the elevator but when they called the dispatcher, he stayed with the original price.
Those two movers worked for 7 hours without a break. They had many obstacles to overcome to make this move happen. I commend everyone who had anything to do with this move. I haven't unpacked everything as yet but so far we have had very little damage -- a head broke off a small statue and a chip off the dresser which was easily repaired. Thank you Basic Movers. You get high praise from me and my whole family.
