Good Move
The movers were scheduled to begin between 1 pm and 3 pm. They finally arrived at 3:15. I had to call the company twice to find out when the estimated arrival time was, each time I was told less than 30 minutes.
I was disappointed that there was no discount given considering they arrived outside of the window that we agreed upon in our initial contract and it took me to call the company for the arrival time. It would have been great if they called to warn me they were running a little behind on their last job.
The only benefit was that the company estimated that it would take the movers 2 hours and they were done in an hour and half. The damages were very minimal, just some marks from paint that were left on my bookcase and dresser from hitting the walls as they were moved out of my old apartment. They could have been avoided had the pieces been wrapped with a blanket.
Also, they took great care in wrapping up several of my pictures/paintings.
