The movers estimated a 5 hour job which took 8 hours. The comment to me was that we had a lot of stuff.
90% of our possessions were all ready in the garage, very easy to access, the movers took all of the small baxes, etc, and tried to leave furniture, after I specifically told them to take the big stuff first. They also frequesntly put something on the truck and had to stop to move it around. I moved 25 miles and it took 8 hours.
The movers also left about 20% of my belongings, so I had to rent a truck the next day and move the rest myself, I'd call this experience a waste of my money. The mover in charge was friendly, but arguing with one of the others about how to load the truck the entire time. I think the move should have taken 6 hours max, eight hours if a second trip had been made to pick up the remainder of my belongings.

Dear Bill I am sorry to hear about your move and how unhappy you are. When we spoke you stated your belongings were in the garage and it was approximately less than a one bedroom apartment.
The truck and crew would have been adequate for that size move. Upon my investigation I was told by the foreman that there was much more than a one bedroom in the garage. At the time of your move I received no phone calls from you stating what was happening and no record of any calls during or after your move. I would have certainly sent a second truck or had the movers make a second trip and there would have been no need for you to rent a truck the next day.
There were far more items than originally talked about and you basically had more than you thought. Again I am sorry about your experience, but as I said, you never called me to explain what was happening. We do give excellent service and the truck we sent you was more than adequate to handle a one bedroom move.
As I said before, I could have sent you a larger truck if it was stated your belongings would have been larger than a one bedroom move. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do now, after the fact. I am once again very sorry however, I do not feel we were wrong since you never contacted us until yesterday at which point I did reply to you email. Once again I am sorry for any misunderstanding there may have been.
